Dubbo Regional Council
According to the Dubbo Regional Council, property owners are responsible for tree maintenance on privately-owned land. The council manages street trees and should be contacted if you have a request for removals or pruning of street trees.

Narromine Shire Council
The Narromine Shire Council requires you to get approval if you plan to do any of the following to a tree or vegetation on your property:
- Remove
- Cut
- Ring-bark
- Top
- Lop
- Injure
- Destroy
